President and Portfolio Manager Jonathan Barrett and his colleagues focus on a value-oriented strategy that invests opportunistically across the capital structure of companies within the broader energy, chemicals and “old economy” ecosystem. Luminus’ coverage universe includes sectors that are interrelated fundamentally and synergistic from a research and information perspective, including power, utilities, MLPs, E&P, drillers, refiners, engineering, renewables, construction, packaging, transportation and coal/steel. The investment approach is based on deep fundamental analysis as well as capital market allocations.
